Lavender Purple Gromwell Soap

Hi, glad to see you again, really. Have been so sad on the failed honey soap, until today, i saw my dearly infused oil, then i dare to start again. Hopefully, would be a good one.

Purple Gromwell Root has been used as a natural dye in this soap which bring purple colour in soap. They have used for herbal medicine in some country due to the extraordinary healing and anti-inflammatory properties and is used for soothing and healing skin wounds as well.

At first stage, we shall infused with pure olive oil.

Here you are: -

Now, let's begin with the soap making. Start from ingredients again.

Ingredients:-
  1. Purple Gromwell Root Infused Olive Oil
  2. Coconut Oil
  3. Palm Oil
  4. NaOH
  5. Water
  6. Lavender Essential Oil
Here is the oil colour when i'm heated up.

Can you see how beautiful is the colour? I love them very much! Most important - this is natural colour from a plant root! Not manufacturing colouring. This is what i most care in my soap. Although i would have think of making beautiful colouring soap with manufacturing powder sometimes. But, aikz! It's confusing me.

And this is the outcome with Lavender EO added.
Some lavender buds added. Just to make it prettier and i can recognize my soap easier! ^^

Sweet purple at this stage, still waiting to see the colour after 24 hours! *Excited*
I hope they are nice, and please don't spoiled again!!!

Oh, i think i have left out the benefits of Lavender Essential Oil in this soap!
Well, lavender essential oil is the most beneficial oils in treatment of acne. They have properties in antiseptic and antifungal. Teenagers would be the ones who face this problem the most as well as adult. Lavender EO inhibits the bacteria that cause the initial infection and reduce the signs of scarring after the acne has begun to heal.

There is a lot of benefits else from this EO, but i would love their function in reduce mental stress and anxiety. Furthermore, it is a bug repellent! The smell of lavender EO is potent for many types of bugs such as mosquitoes and moth.

Therefore, this soap is suitable for those who facing acne problems, with aczema or sensitive skin.

Even if you think Lavender EO is a wonderful miracle cure, please be careful!!
As with many EO, pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid using.
It also recommended that diabetes patients to avoid also.
Person that have unusually sensitive skin may allergic to this EO too.

Ok, see you again in next soap. ^^v

Honey Ginger Soap 2 - End (Failed)

A sad news to share. Sigh.. This whole soap have failed.. Why? I really don't know. Some says is the temperature problem, some says might caused by the honey. Well, i feel is the honey too as i have changed the honey only if compare to last one. This honey might be not pure therefore have affected the saponification process.

I have nothing to say. Throw them all into dustbin and sad that's all i could.
Is ok, just make it again after i went for the last time used honey. I bought from a auntie which said it is pure. And now we all know, yes it is.

Here is the pictures, quite disgusting. But i would like to show to all, in case your soap have went to this, please proceed to dustbin. It cannot be use.

Said to self, come on cheer up, you can make it better.

To achieve beautiful drawing in soap. I have make the soap solution into 3 colours by control the percentage of honey.

Last one, i would like to show you the pictures. From the 1st one you can see the mess when 3 colours mixed up. I have used spatula to stir pattern inside, and then followed by chopstick. You could see the different.

Rose Himalayan Pink Rock Salt Soap

Hello everyone, this time i would like to share a new soap - Salt Soap.

A good salt soap can stimulates the body, remove dull and dead skin as well as exfoliation. Daily toxin can be remove also while cleansing your skin pores.

Ok, my ingredients: -
  1. Coconut Oil - Cleansing.
  2. Sweet Almond Oil - Nourishing, Revitalizing, Moisturizing.                                     *Have light texture which mean easily absorbed.
  3. Castor Oil - For acne, eczema rashes skin uses
  4. NaOH
  5. Water
  6. Rose Geranium Essential Oil - Anti-aging.
  7. Himalayan Pink Rock Salt - Exfoliation.

Well, actually the process is exactly the same as what we used to do in past. But there is a little different too. After we mix up the oils and lye solution, we must not stir for too long, once they are equally mixed then we could add in the essential oil follow by salt. Then stir again. Remember, the solution must not be too trace. If it is really too trace, then you would have your risk when you pour them into mold.

This is how they looks like:-

Once you feel the soap is trace, pour them into molds.

Well, single molds suggested. Why do i say so? There is a very tricky problem in cutting salt soap - TIME. Until now, i have no idea what time exactly i should cut the soap. Some says not more than 3 hours, some says within 7 hours. If you have missed the best time to cut, you will result in pieces. Therefore, if you have not confident enough to make sure you could cut them nicely, choose this kind of single molds.

That's all for today, Good Night. (n_n)
